Ariel and Jesse’s stunning, pink-inspired affair under the Williamsburg Bridge was an extraordinary night for everyone involved who got to witness their love story unfold. From the jaw-dropping florals to the wood-fired pizza at midnight, it was the party of the century.
When capturing a legacy, each shutter click is a delicate dance with time, preserving fleeting moments that evolve into cherished heirlooms. Being a wedding photographer is not just a role; it’s a cherished duty of friendship, care, and love – an honorable privilege, immortalizing the authentic beauty of each couple’s extraordinary day.
Ariel and Jesse—an iconic dynamic duo whose love story unfolded beautifully on a surprisingly not sweltering August day in New York City.
Ariel and Jesse originally met at The University of Michigan and then reconnected and began their love story in New York City, they’ve been inseparable ever since.
Coordinated by the groom’s mother, Carrie Gold of Carrie Gold Events, and her meticulous event director, Marco Chiavarolotti. This celebration was a testament to her expertise and planning, infusing every detail with an extra layer of love and care.
The day unfolded with anticipation and joy at the Coda Williamsburg Penthouse, where Ariel and her bridesmaids prepared for the day ahead. I’ve never seen so many shades of pink…if you didn’t like pink before, this wedding will make you love it. Every bridesmaid’s dress was unique to their personality and flowed beautifully with one another.
With views of the Manhattan skyline, the girls shared precious moments filled with laughter and love. This day reminded me how special it is to create with other like-minded vendors. Alex Hopkins, the amazing videographer, and now a dear friend, was always ready to create the next best capture and was constantly looking out for the couple, myself, and the other vendors. It truly makes the world of a difference to create with a team that works seamlessly together.
Adding a poignant touch to their celebration, Ariel and Jesse participated in a Jewish Ketubah ceremony. Following the ceremony, The Foundry was transformed into a romantic haven, adorned with breathtaking hues of pink by the skilled hands of floral designer Ivie Joy. Each bloom served as a testament to the couple’s love, turning the reception into an incredible party!
Dolce and Gelato, with their Aperol/Gelato cart, offered delightful treats to the guests. This sweet addition elevated an already enchanting celebration, providing a moment of indulgence for everyone in attendance.
While the guests enjoyed a lovely meal under the stars, Larry Gold’s, father of the groom, (we’ve got a very talented family here) Unique Musique singer Mr. Christopher Norton entertained the guests and opened the dance floor for an evening of busting the best moves I’ve ever seen on a dancefloor.
The celebration continued into the night with an after-party that was nothing short of spectacular. Disco balls cast their sparkling light as guests enjoyed the unique experience of making their own pizza, led by the talented Hott Carl’s Pizza team. Amidst the lively atmosphere, champagne flowed, served by the chic Champagne Girls dressed in the same beautiful pinks that adorned the entire celebration.
To Ariel and Jesse, thank you for letting me into your love and life. Right from your engagement session I knew how special you two were, as individuals and to each other. And hearing your vows, reminded me of how true that is.
As a photographer, my vision extends beyond the lens, aspiring to build connections that transcend the physical images. Ariel, Jesse, and the iconic vendor team have transitioned from clients/vendors to cherished friends, proving that the most emotional photographs emerge from a genuine connection.
To the couples embarking on their love stories, savor every moment this season. Don’t let the industry convince you that the most spectacular day must be stressful…Your wedding day isn’t merely a celebration; it’s the building of a legacy that will resonate for generations.
A & J, may your love expand each year you two get to celebrate life together, mirroring the timeless images we’ve co-created.
