I love fashion, getting lost in antique shops, laughing way too hard at stand-up comedy, and sipping an iced matcha no matter the season. I’m the daughter of a therapist and an entrepreneur - raised with both empathy and ambition in equal measure. I get to marry the kindest man I know (we're thinking Italy 2027?!). We met working at a restaurant in Upstate NY when we were 19 and 20, stayed friends for 4 years before we dated, and recently got engaged in NYC.
I will be there helping you touch up your lipstick after cocktail hour, giving your hand a squeeze when the emotions rise and handing your partner a tissue when they see you. Circa 1955, my dad & grandmother and her mother in the backyard taken by my grandfather. My dad captured my entire childhood, constantly in awe of life unfolding & why I fell in love with capturing candids. He gave me my first camera when I was 11. It’s a gorgeous feeling to know that he [dad] had someone capturing all the moments for him too. A moment in time I’ll hold close forever.
My approach blends editorial direction with cinematic, organic documentary style of photography. I’ll guide you when it helps—and step back when it matters most. No stiff posing, but nothing missed. I’m always observing, intuitively attuned, and creatively discerning—so you can stay fully present, knowing I’ve got your back in every sense.

"Where to begin… I cannot say enough wonderful things about Leandra. 2020 was such a difficult year for so many and, COVID aside, she walked the most difficult year of my life with me and my now husband. Our original wedding date was on May 2nd, 2020 and then COVID happened causing us to have to reschedule. We postponed to June 13th and my father got admitted to the hospital unexpectedly on May 21st, was in the hospital for 21 days and passed away on June 10th. Again, Leandra led with empathy in navigating our tough decisions and unexpected challenges and worked with us to choose a third date when we were ready. So finally on October 4th we were able to proceed with our wedding and she made the day (which I was expecting to be a very hard and emotional day) fun, enjoyable, and lighthearted and she knew exactly what to capture and when to capture it. She was so organized, prepared, and gave great direction and really made the day run smoothly.
